The Big Luck pieces start with up-cycled luxury boxes or shopping bags that are trimmed into the background shape, collaged and then embroidered. The embroidery is stitched directly through the actual box itself. Each background features intricate embroidery stitches that truly make each one unique. Once the background is complete it is padded and mounted. The horse shoe is embroidered using thread and appliqué. Once embroidered are hand trimmed and mounted in relief over the background. The flowers are created in the gypsy style with embroidered and applies flowers mixed together and mounted in relief over the background. Embroidered butterflies are added as a finishing touch.
